So there is hope! Unfortunately Jonas has no problem with pooping in underwear. Er. I was told that kids typically train faster in cloth diapers, but that hasn't held true for him...or if it has, I'd hate to imagine how old he would be...18? I've heard girls are faster (was the case with my brother and I). Kenna likes to sit on the frog potty, so she may get the hang of it before her brother!

so...this is exactly how it was with Carter. About a month before he turned 3 he would pee on the potty, but wouldn't poop. Finally after he turned 3, i put him in underwear...he didn't want to poop in them so this worked for us. he held his poop for 3 or 4 days and then he had to go...he sat on the potty and went and then that was that.

With Morgan, she did it all at once at 2-1/2...girls just learn faster. :)

Oh how you once looked at Ted and I and laughed as we (though married long after you) went down this road long before you. There really are somethings you just have to experience to understand. Like trading my sporty 2-door Cougar for a "practical" 4-door mini-v, and never looking back. Well almost never...we still reminis of trips gone by from time to time. Now Ted and I get to watch you and Matt learn from experience and chuckle.

Perhaps it's best to relax and just enjoy the ride...

This is what happens when you move to suburbia! You get a white picket fence and your deep held convictions fall away...I'm afraid of what's next. I can't believe that you actually uttered the word...but you know, there are some nice looking ones that don't seem too 'soccer-mom' ;)

I don't care what anyone says, there's nothing wrong with a healthy baby! Riley' been in the 98+ % since the day she was born. At 4 1/2 she was within 3" of being 4' tall, and 53 lbs. She's completely healthy!

Sometimes I think God gives us children just for ironic metaphors we could never see or hear on own! or maybe he knows we pay much closer attention to our kids when they're little than we do to Him most of the time.
